i was approached by an elder about a year ago asking what i am going to do with my large collection of wt literature.
he told me the society had put word out that they were collecting old literature.
i asked him why but he couldn't give me a definite answer.
I'm having a bit of bother at the moment, keeping old litteratrash out of a KH library and getting it in my hands where it will be much more useful.
From reports I have heard, the only litteratrash not available in your average Kiwi KH is only what they have never had the opportunity to collect.

i was listening to the radio, a religous show.. the speaker started talking about how the holy spirit is the third person of the godhead.. they just assume that everyone understands what a godhead is, and it is a manmade term.
that is what makes their point of view so ridiculous.. is it like a godfoot, godear, god elbow?.
they have their scriptures to link the holy spirit with the trinity, and jws have their scriptures to unlink it, and never they two shall meet.. .
It's easy. For example, if you want to know what it means to a Catholic, look it up in their encyclopedia. Google something like 'catholic encyclopedia godhead', then try and understand their official position without rephrasing it to mean things that they are not saying, which is the trick the Watchtower uses to scam JWs into thinking the Catholics have no scriptural support for their Trinity.
I haven't yet met a Catholic bashing JW who actually understood what the Trinity is according to the Catholic Encyclopedia. They all bashed Modalism under their illusion that Modalism represented the Catholic's Trinity.

Search the CD for '1914 generation'
If your digital library goes back further, do the same search. There are several 1960's Awake!s in the early and late 60's that describe the 1914 generation in embarrasing language, e.g. a 1969 article saying that the generation that saw 1914 are nearly 70 years old. I'm sure those articles have been disussed here before today.
If you, or the JW you are talking to, do have access to older literature..... do the same search

There are lots of gods to choose from and none of my ancestors claim to be descended from Hebrews, who didn't invent the name 'Jehovah' anyway.
I think if I really wanted a god, I would just make one up. One that took responsibility for all my bad behaviours and let me take the credit for my better qualities.

i have been encouraging my mom to cook with coconut oil, it does help with her dementia symptoms sometimes.
it is just not safe for people with dementia to use knives for cooking, thats why i need some recipe ideas.

Further to jwleaks, I have used coconut cream in coffee, just using it as a replacement for milk, and I rather like it.
Just don't fall out of the tree, or cut yourself on the grater. I have seen it in tins in our supermarket, but I do fresh.

Substitute it in baking. Bread made with coconut oil is nice.
She could just eat it by the spoonful. If it's distasteful, it's bad oil, so find a new supplier, or extract it yourself. (Don't cut your hands on the grater )

#1 Clothing!! Me.. You don't have to kill a sheep to make clothes and what did they do with all the stuff they didn't make clothes out of??
#2 They made cheese!! Me.. Where did they get their rennet from?? the corner dairy?? the supermarket??

The nature I enjoy didn't require gods of any culture to invent, design, create, etc. and was here long before the gods of Middle Eastern tribes.
'Jehovah', was invented by a Catholic monk in the 1700s. That just makes him a creation of us humans, not us a creation of his.
The 'small world' That JW's find themselves in, where they find 'friends' in every continent, is the creation of humans with technology that humans created. Constantly remind them of that. My ancestors took months and years to circle the globe. Jumping on a plane to go back to the country of your birth on the other side of the planet is a blessing of mankind's efforts, not Jebooboo's rusty chariot.
